Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falardo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Skiel is defended easily by Falardo.
Falardo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Skiel moves away.
Falardo leaves Skiel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Falardo looks to land a right hand but Skiel moved out of range.
Falardo looks to score with a jab to the body but Skiel is just out of range.

Falardo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Skiel takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Falardo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Skiel has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Falardo but great work by Skiel.
Falardo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Falardo sneaks back into half guard.
Skiel wants to pass to mount but Falardo is defending the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Falardo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Skiel shoots in looking for a takedown but Falardo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Skiel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Skiel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Falardo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Skiel has managed to get both his arms back between Falardo's legs - danger averted.
