Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zartan Zatarain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Castle Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zatarain might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Linkin Park - The Catalyst. Rock is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Rogue from Scotland . Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zatarain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rock.
Rock looks to throw the jab but Zatarain is out of range.
Zatarain slips under a jab.
Zatarain fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rock to the ground. Zatarain is now in Rock's guard.
Rock keeping moving, preventing Zatarain from controlling successfully.
Zatarain is really struggling to control Rock but he's trying to hold on to the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rock is on top in guard.
Zatarain is controlling Rock's posture.

and Zatarain counters with a nice leg kick.

Rock connects with a leg kick. Zatarain looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Zatarain counters with a good low kick that Rock was not able to check.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Zatarain looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Castle Rock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rock closes the distance looking to clinch
and Zatarain makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rock throws a series of punches but Zatarain avoids them all with ease.
Zatarain manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rock on his heels. He'll look to pass Rock's guard now, I'm sure.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rock misses with a few strikes there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rock looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zatarain rushes Rock and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rock digs a right hand underneath Zatarain's ribcage. Zatarain let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Rock misses with a hook from the clinch.
Zatarain works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Zatarain postures up in Rock's guard and throws a big left but Rock blocks it.
Rock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Rock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Zatarain is looking to advance position but Rock has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rock stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Rock throws out a leg kick but Zatarain moves out of range and Rock only half commits.

and Zatarain counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rock won't be happy with that.
Zatarain laying and praying for a moment but Rock takes advantage and regains half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Rock manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Rock manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rock stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

and Zatarain counters with a single leg into guard. Rock didn't expect that.
Zatarain throws a strike but Rock rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rock prevents Zatarain from getting back to his feet.

Rock has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zatarain is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rock is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Rock postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Zatarain to stand up.
Rock misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rock misses with a left hand
and Zatarain counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rock throws a right and a left that both miss.
And that's the end of the fight!
Zartan Zatarain showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zatarain, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
