Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hero Tasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bagdan Khmelnytsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bagdan Khmelnytsky is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hero Tasaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bagdan Khmelnytsky !
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Khmelnytsky misses
and Tasaki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tasaki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tasaki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hero Tasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khmelnytsky takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tasaki lands an overhand right.
Khmelnytsky slips a jab and a cross from Tasaki.

Khmelnytsky drops Tasaki with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tasaki looks back up at him and smiles so Khmelnytsky waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Tasaki is rocked!


It looks like Hero Tasaki has been cut.

Tasaki closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Khmelnytsky quickly recovers to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khmelnytsky trying to control but Tasaki postures up.
Khmelnytsky might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tasaki kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Tasaki is trying to control the action in half guard but Khmelnytsky is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Khmelnytsky trying to hold on to Tasaki's head to control him but Tasaki postures up.
Tasaki blocks the strikes from Khmelnytsky .
Khmelnytsky is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Khmelnytsky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tasaki is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are battling for position here. Khmelnytsky manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Tasaki postures up in Khmelnytsky 's guard and throws a big left but Khmelnytsky blocks it.
Khmelnytsky lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tasaki!
Tasaki is looking to get to half guard.
Khmelnytsky controlling his opponent.
Tasaki is desperately trying to improve his position but Khmelnytsky has a good base and remains in mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Khmelnytsky takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Khmelnytsky wants to control the pace but Tasaki is squirming around nicely.
Tasaki tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tasaki is working hard here to advance position.
Tasaki wants to hold on but Khmelnytsky pushes him away.
Tasaki is looking to get to half guard.
Tasaki tries to lock up and control but Khmelnytsky gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khmelnytsky looking to control and managing it successfully.
Tasaki really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Tasaki is in a horrible position here. Khmelnytsky smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tasaki is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Tasaki wants to control but Khmelnytsky is having none of it.
Khmelnytsky prevents Tasaki from getting the reversal.
Khmelnytsky lands a nice shot to the head.
Khmelnytsky cracks Tasaki with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bagdan Khmelnytsky dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hero Tasaki's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Tasaki takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Tasaki gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Khmelnytsky gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Tasaki is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bagdan Khmelnytsky !
