Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Narwhals FkYa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Narwhals FkYa!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
FkYa is looking to clinch but White is avoiding it.
White really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
White shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says FkYa as he avoids it easily.

White scores a takedown into full mount!
White is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. FkYa is in real trouble.
FkYa looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

White looking to break FkYa's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. FkYa remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise White will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White is trying to stick to FkYa's back but FkYa is turning into White. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in White's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by FkYa.

FkYa trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
FkYa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of White is proving hard to escape from.

White looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
White is breathing heavily.

White has his foot on FkYa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. FkYa works his way back into a safe position though.

FkYa gets to his feet. White looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and White counters with a shoot takedown. FkYa fights it but they end up in guard.
White stops FkYa from standing up.
White passes FkYa's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

White wants to advance to full mount but FkYa doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
White wants to control from the top but FkYa keeps moving.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

White manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. FkYa manages to get himself to full guard.

FkYa blocking the ground and pound attempt from White.
FkYa is not content to let White control the position.

White stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

White is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, FkYa has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
FkYa has given up his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White wants to control but FkYa is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank White dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



White shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

White decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

White closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - White lands in his opponent's guard.

FkYa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. White is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. FkYa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take White's back instead.
White just trying to survive but FkYa is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Frank White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
FkYa has the hooks in. White is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Will FkYa go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
FkYa biding his time, looking for the opening.

FkYa is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
FkYa is not going to allow White to sit and survive in this position.

Can White hold on?! FkYa is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
FkYa struggling to keep hold of the position.

FkYa doesn't have the hooks in and White manages to turn into his guard.

White drops back looking for a leg! FkYa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and FkYa manages to kick White off! White jumps back into FkYa's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
White looking to land some kicks to the body here.

White scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
White passes to side control.

White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but FkYa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
White trying to control the position but FkYa is working away.

White is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, FkYa has escaped the position, nice work there.

White swings around for an armbar but FkYa sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into White's guard.

FkYa drops back looking for a leg! White is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and White manages to kick FkYa off! FkYa jumps back into White's guard.
FkYa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
White looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
White lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for FkYa!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



White fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. FkYa sprawls well initially but White persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
White passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for FkYa!

White has control of FkYa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and FkYa regains control of the situation pretty easily.

White working for a submission but FkYa is keeping him at bay.

White throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! FkYa has his hands clasped together but White breaks the hold and FkYa is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by White!
