Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Uriah Fabersave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor mcneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Uriah Fabersave!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trevor mcneil!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mcneil fails with an attempt to clinch.

Fabersave moves into range and clinches up with mcneil.
mcneil prevents Fabersave from breaking the clinch.
Fabersave wants to get back to striking at distance but mcneil won't allow it.

Fabersave breaks from the clinch.

Fabersave clinches.
mcneil keeps control of Fabersave as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

mcneil has hold of one of Fabersave's legs. Fabersave is fighting the takedown attempt but mcneil gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Fabersave wants to stand but mcneil is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

mcneil stands and steps away. Fabersave gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
mcneil shoots for a takedown but Fabersave saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fabersave moves into the clinch.
Fabersave can't break the clinch.

mcneil has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fabersave uses from the top position.
Fabersave has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of mcneil is proving hard to escape from.
mcneil throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
mcneil is looking to sweep but instead, Fabersave has passed into half guard.
mcneil tries to get to full guard but Fabersave has control of the leg.
mcneil throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Fabersave manages to pass to side control.
mcneil wants to get back to his feet.
mcneil really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fabersave. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

and mcneil counters by clinching up.
Fabersave wants to break free but mcneil has control.
mcneil is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fabersave gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

mcneil has hold of one of Fabersave's legs. Fabersave is fighting the takedown attempt but mcneil gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
mcneil looks gassed!
mcneil won't allow Fabersave to get back to his feet.

Fabersave pushes mcneil off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fabersave lands a two punch combo.
Fabersave wants to clinch

and mcneil holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

mcneil is trying to trip Fabersave. He has hold of a leg but Fabersave is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. mcneil persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fabersave wriggles free and stands up.
Fabersave is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Trevor mcneil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
mcneil tries to clinch up.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
mcneil will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Uriah Fabersave has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor mcneil.
mcneil changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fabersave tries to avoid it but mcneil manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fabersave to the ground. Fabersave escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
mcneil shoots in but Fabersave avoids the takedown attempt easily.

mcneil has managed to clinch.
The referee calls for mcneil to work.

Fabersave is fighting off a takedown attempt but mcneil is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fabersave to the mat. Fabersave regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
mcneil working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fabersave's head.
Fabersave might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
mcneil throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fabersave works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
mcneil wants to pass the guard but Fabersave is keeping the position.
mcneil trying to control but Fabersave is working from the bottom.
mcneil won't allow Fabersave to get back to his feet.

Fabersave has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes mcneil off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

mcneil closes the distance and clinches.
mcneil has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fabersave is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Fabersave breaks the clinch.
Fabersave throws a nice outside leg kick.
Fabersave connects with a solid leg kick.

Fabersave rushes mcneil and presses him up against the cage.

mcneil is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fabersave can't fight it off and eventually mcneil manages to take the fight to the floor. Fabersave looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fabersave manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Fabersave looks to land a combination but mcneil avoids it well.

mcneil shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Fabersave kicks off mcneil and gets to his feet.
Fabersave tries to land a front kick but mcneil steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
mcneil darts in trying to clinch
and Fabersave counters with a three punch combo that has mcneil backing up. mcneil nods at Fabersave to acknowledge the strikes.

mcneil gets the takedown into side control.

Fabersave sneaks out the side door and pushes mcneil away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

mcneil gets a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

mcneil tightens his grip and picks Fabersave up, before dumping him to the ground. Fabersave manages to land in guard.
Fabersave wants to stand and escape but mcneil is having none of it.
mcneil scoring with punches to the head and body.

Fabersave is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

mcneil decides to pull guard.

mcneil takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
mcneil avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fabersave misses with a double jab.
mcneil closes the distance but Fabersave moves to the side

and Fabersave counters by moving into the clinch.
Fabersave scores with a shot to the side of mcneil's head.
Fabersave wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fabersave is trying to break the clinch but mcneil has him pressed against the cage.

mcneil has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Fabersave is trying to keep an underhook but mcneil manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
mcneil seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Fabersave dances in with a quick combination. mcneil is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Fabersave snaps mcneil's head back. mcneil stumbles backwards against the cage. Fabersave steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with mcneil's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. mcneil just didn't come prepared.
