Tamano with a lazy takedown attempt
and Sakurabu makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tamano really felt that one!
Kazuki Sakurabu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tamano checks a leg kick.

and Sakurabu counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Tamano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sakurabu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sakurabu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Tamano really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sakurabu has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tamano to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sakurabu is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tamano pulls down on the head and he's put Sakurabu to sleep! This one is all over!
