Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Lenol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davids comes to the cage accompanied by Wu-Tang Clan - Bring Da Ruckus. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tyrone Davids! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ty Lenol! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Lenol enables Davids to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lenol manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Lenol had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Davids defends it easily. Lenol is trying to control the position but Davids postures up. Davids makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Davids trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lenol working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Davids has passed into half guard!
Lenol wants to improve his position but Davids is controlling well.
Lenol has a hand on Davids's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Davids takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Davids breaks from Lenol's wrist control and lands an elbow. BOOM! Davids connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Lenol tries to hold on but Davids postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davids takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lenol is working to get back to half guard.
Lenol is bucking up trying to escape but Davids cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Davids working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davids looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Davids prevents Lenol from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lenol tries to hold on but Davids postures up. Lenol tries to get back to half guard but can't. Davids has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Davids lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Davids postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lenol looks a forlorn figure.
Davids can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lenol is looking to escape. Lenol is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lenol is squirming around, avoiding Davids's attempts to control the action. Lenol is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Davids landing shots from mount. Davids fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Davids goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Lenol turns into him and now he's in Davids's guard.
Lenol is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Davids seems keen to control Lenol's posture. Lenol throws a strike but Davids rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lenol keeping full guard, as Davids tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lenol manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davids manages to get himself to full guard.
Davids controls Lenol momentarily but Lenol frees himself. Lenol looking to pass the guard. Lenol throwing strikes but missing. Lenol thows a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyrone Davids dominated that round. That's time! Davids's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lenol tries to clinch but Davids is having none of it. Lenol tries for a takedown but Davids circles away easily and Davids counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lenol is trying to keep Davids in close.
Lenol bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davids's guard. Davids is pulling down on Lenol's head. It's preventing any offense from Lenol, at least for the moment. Lenol with a flurry of punches that miss. Davids working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lenol doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lenol manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Davids wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Lenol keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Davids's head. Davids working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lenol. Davids manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lenol manages to get himself to full guard.

Lenol looking to hit a scissor sweep but Davids is one step ahead there. Tyrone Davids overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lenol working for a triangle but Davids defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lenol is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lenol keeping moving, preventing Davids from controlling successfully. Lenol really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davids. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Davids is working Lenol over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davids accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Davids controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lenol can do anything to dispel that myth. Davids stopping the sweep attempt from Lenol. Davids passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lenol tries to roll over but Davids keeps him under control. Davids wants to pass the guard but Lenol is defending well. Davids throwing shots but Lenol is blocking nicely. Lenol is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lenol on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Davids working over Lenol with some ground and pound. Lenol looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Lenol is looking to control Davids's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lenol avoid being mounted? Davids thows a huge punch but Lenol dodges it nicely.

Davids looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Davids slips a nice elbow through Lenol's hands, connecting with Lenol's forehead. Davids prevents Lenol from standing back up.

Davids seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Davids is keen to just control but Lenol is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davids lands a jab to Lenol's midsection. Davids thows a body shot but no joy. Lenol shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lenol was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Davids working to try and regain half guard.
Lenol avoids the attempt from Davids to control. Davids sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Davids regains full guard. Nicely done. Lenol connects with a couple of short punches. Davids utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Davids keeping full guard, as Lenol tries to pass. Davids is trying to control the position but Lenol postures up. Lenol must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lenol makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lenol accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lenol postures up in Davids's guard and throws a big left but Davids blocks it. Davids is looking for a triangle but Lenol pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Davids preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lenol is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Davids has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lenol is looking to defend but Davids has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lenol! Davids pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lenol taps out and this one is all over!
