Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gilang Ruslim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroshi Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gilang Ruslim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hiroshi Guy! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Guy or perhaps it was just good defense by Ruslim which made him look bad. Ruslim with a poor takedown and Guy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ruslim tries for a takedown but Guy circles away easily and Guy counters by clinching up. Guy prevents Ruslim from breaking the clinch. Guy has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ruslim regains guard immediately. Guy won't allow Ruslim to sweep him here. Guy stops Ruslim from standing up. Ruslim looking to control.
Guy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruslim swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ruslim can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Guy controls the pace. Guy wants to pass the guard but Ruslim is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ruslim doesn't succeed with the takedown and Guy counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilang Ruslim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ruslim tries to bench press Guy off him but Guy keeps the position. Guy trying to control the action but Ruslim is working from the bottom. Ruslim tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ruslim is breathing heavily. Guy taking a breather here. Ruslim managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Guy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ruslim will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Hiroshi Guy was stalling too much, according to the referee. Guy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ruslim manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guy tries to free his leg and advance position but Ruslim is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Guy stands and steps away. Ruslim gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Ruslim misses with a takedown and Guy counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Guy has Ruslim pressed against the cage, preventing Ruslim from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Ruslim jumps guard but Guy stands there with Ruslim around his waist. Ruslim gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Guy drags the fight down to the ground.
Ruslim tries to free his leg and advance position but Guy is retaining full guard. Guy manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Guy moves into the clinch. Guy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ruslim avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Guy stalling.
Guy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Guy dives in and scores a takedown into Ruslim's guard. Guy stops Ruslim from standing up. Ruslim keeping moving, preventing Guy from controlling successfully. Ruslim tries to land a sweep but no joy. Guy controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Guy trying to control but Ruslim is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hiroshi Guy wasn't active enough on the ground. Guy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ruslim's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Guy being controlled here momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hiroshi Guy dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ruslim with a poor takedown and Guy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Guy. Ruslim tries for a takedown. No joy.
Guy has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ruslim is trying to keep an underhook but Guy manages to get the takedown into half guard. Ruslim is staying active underneath Guy, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Guy lands strikes from half guard. Guy controlling the action here. Ruslim is defending against the submission attempts here by Guy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Guy wants to work for an arm triangle but Ruslim is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ruslim scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Guy manages to mount him!
Guy working for a guillotine from mount but Ruslim is in no mood to give up. Ruslim is controlling an arm, preventing Guy from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ruslim wants to control but Guy is having none of it. Ruslim is just holding on here. Guy manages to take his back.
Ruslim is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Good control from Guy. Guy lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Ruslim.

Guy is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruslim prevents Guy from getting a body triangle. Guy trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Ruslim doesn't escape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. You can see the frustration on Ruslim's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hiroshi Guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Ruslim tries for a takedown but Guy circles away easily and Guy counters with a big head kick but Ruslim shrugs it off. Ruslim throws a lazy head kick and Guy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Guy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ruslim is trying to control the position but Guy postures up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Guy tries to free his leg and advance position but Ruslim is retaining full guard. Ruslim is working an open guard so Guy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Guy darts in and clinches Ruslim up against the cage. Guy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ruslim walks away with a smile on his face. Guy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Guy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ruslim wants to control but Guy postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ruslim's legs. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ruslim is trying to get back to his feet. Ruslim tries to control but Guy manages to take his back. Guy sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Ruslim taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hiroshi Guy!
