Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karim Chamakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lonje Moco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chamakh's entrance music is Immortal - Unearthly Kingdom. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karim Chamakh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lonje Moco! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moco darts in trying to clinch and Chamakh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moco's guard. Chamakh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chamakh tries to free his leg and advance position but Moco is retaining full guard. Chamakh working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Moco is trying to control the position but Chamakh postures up. Chamakh engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chamakh is working Moco over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moco looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chamakh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moco swivels though and keeps the full guard. Moco working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chamakh. Chamakh missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chamakh pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Moco is keeping the position for now. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Chamakh working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chamakh postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Chamakh throws and elbow that misses. Moco uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chamakh's guard. Nice move by Moco! Chamakh is adopting a defensive guard. Moco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chamakh swivels though and keeps the full guard. Moco must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chamakh is controlling Moco's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Moco gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chamakh to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chamakh preventing the sweep. Chamakh is working Moco over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Moco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chamakh throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moco looking to control.

Chamakh closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moco did well to prevent Chamakh getting side control. Chamakh throwing shots but Moco is blocking nicely. Chamakh winds up and cracks Moco with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Chamakh controlling the pace. Moco is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chamakh lands strikes from half guard. Moco is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Chamakh looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Chamakh sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Moco defending well though. Moco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chamakh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Moco has hold of Chamakh's hands but Chamakh slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moco can do anything to dispel that myth. Moco avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chamakh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moco wants to control but Chamakh is keeping busy.
Moco wants to get back to full guard. Chamakh seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Chamakh with the ground and pound but Moco uses the opportunity to regain guard. Moco keeping moving, preventing Chamakh from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chamakh with a flurry of punches that miss. Chamakh throws a big right hand that misses. Moco keeping moving, preventing Chamakh from controlling successfully. Moco wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Chamakh throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moco tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chamakh is in Moco's guard.

Karim Chamakh dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
An inside leg kick from Moco misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moco doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chamakh counters with a shoot takedown. Moco fights it but they end up in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chamakh looking to pass the guard. Moco tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chamakh prevents Moco from getting back to his feet. Chamakh working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Moco has momentary wrist control but Chamakh slips an elbow through the middle. Moco keeping moving, preventing Chamakh from controlling successfully. Lonje Moco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
We're going to have a standup here because Karim Chamakh wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Moco throws a hook to the side of Chamakh's head but Chamakh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And that's the end of the fight! Karim Chamakh showed his dominance in that final round. Well Chamakh has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
