Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bam Margera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Decimus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Set It Off-MadBall. Bam Margera has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus tries to clinch up.
Maximus doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Margera counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Margera.
Maximus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Margera drops back looking for a leg! Maximus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maximus manages to kick Margera off! Margera jumps back into Maximus's guard.
Margera tries to stand but Maximus is controlling from the bottom.
Maximus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Margera is one step ahead there.
Maximus trying to keep a closed guard but Margera is proving a slippery customer.

Maximus has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Margera decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Maximus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Margera counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Maximus's guard now.
Maximus is looking for a triangle but Margera pushes his legs off easily.

Margera tries to free his leg and advance position but Maximus is retaining full guard.
Margera is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Margera postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Maximus is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Margera, into his guard.

Margera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Maximus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Margera is breathing heavily.
Maximus wants to control from the top but Margera keeps moving.
Maximus is pushing down on Margera's leg trying to pass to half guard. Margera is fighting to maintain full guard but Maximus has managed to sneak the leg through.
Well, if Maximus is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Maximus wants to control but Margera is keeping him busy.

Margera regains full guard. Nicely done.
Margera has momentary wrist control but Maximus slips an elbow through the middle.

Maximus stands and steps away. Margera gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Maximus lands a head kick. Margera smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Maximus takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A combination from Maximus does no damage.
Margera keeps the fight on the outside.
Maximus fails in his attempt to clinch.
Maximus closes the distance and pushes Margera back into the cage.
Maximus manages to pull guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Maximus wants to sweep but no luck.
Margera wants to stand but Maximus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Maximus holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maximus not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Decimus Maximus hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Maximus throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Margera's head.
Maximus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Margera sprawls well. Margera wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maximus gets slowly back to his feet.
Bam Margera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Decimus Maximus.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Margera decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Margera's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Maximus is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Margera is trying to escape and Maximus transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Margera is forced to tap! Nice work there by Maximus! Very nice indeed!
