Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Kael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Kael!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Rogers!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers closes the distance looking to clinch

and Kael counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rogers!
Rogers is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rogers working to try and regain half guard.
Kael misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kael looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Kael knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rogers on the ground.
Kael looking to ground and pound but Rogers is blocking nicely.
Poor strikes thrown by Kael there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Kael thowing shots but they're missing.
Rogers is looking to improve his position but Kael isn't that keen on the idea.
Kael throws a sloppy strike and Rogers uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Rogers has ended up in Kael's guard.

Kael has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rogers is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kael.

Rogers decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Rogers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kael is fending him off so far but Rogers persists. Nope, Kael circles away and we're back to standing.
Kael tries a head kick but it misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kael pushes Rogers back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Rogers throws a punch but it's blocked by Kael.

Kael has Rogers pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kael pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rogers tumbling to the mat - Kael dives into Rogers's guard.

Kael might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kael postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Rogers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kael tries to get to full guard but Rogers has control of the leg.

Kael closes the distance and clinches.
Rogers is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kael pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kael managing to block the knees to the body from Rogers.
Rogers wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kael has him pressed against the cage.
Kael tries to pull guard but Rogers holds him up against the cage and eventually Kael drops back down to his feet.
Rogers has had enough of the clinch but Kael keeps him there for the moment.
Kael wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kael is trying to drag Rogers to the mat but Rogers just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kael is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rogers is controlling him.

Kael is looking for a triangle but Rogers pushes his legs off easily.
Kael utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kael holds on and takes a little breather.

Rogers decides to stand back up. Rogers steps back and let's Kael get back to his feet.

and Rogers counters with a series of strikes. Kael will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Kael. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rogers is breathing heavily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kael.
Kael throws a right hand that Rogers ducks under and follows up with a left that Rogers also avoids with ease.

Kael looking to sit in guard and control but Rogers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kael is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kael shoots in for a takedown but Rogers shows good takedown defense.
Rogers shoots and misses

and Kael holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kael prevents Rogers from breaking the clinch.
Rogers jumps guard but Kael stands there with Rogers around his waist. Rogers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kael has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rogers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rogers fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kael blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kael can't get the takedown.

Kael ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kael no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Rogers slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Kael.
Kael is trying is best to control the position here.
Rogers is trying to control the action in half guard but Kael is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kael is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Rogers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kael shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rogers sprawls well. Rogers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kael gets slowly back to his feet.

Kael fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rogers manages to avoid it.

Kael looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Rogers wants to control from the top but Kael keeps moving.

Rogers works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Kael on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kael tries to get out of the position.
Kael is trying to get back to full guard.
Kael is trying to stand.
Kael tries to roll over but Rogers keeps him under control.
Kael is trying to stand up here but Rogers is controlling him well.
Rogers trying to control from half guard but Kael is working away.
Tyson Kael overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Rogers might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kael kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kael wants to get back to full guard but Rogers has passed into side control.

Kael tries to bench press Rogers off him but Rogers keeps the position.
Rogers advances nicely into full mount.
Rogers prevents Kael from getting the reversal.
Kael tries to hold on but Rogers pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Rogers is working for a guillotine from mount but Kael frees his head quite easily.
Kael is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Kael can't escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Bruce Rogers.
I think Rogers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
