Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lord Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Waul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vader comes to the cage accompanied by Same Ol' Road. Lord Vader has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Waul lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vader doesn't seem phased though.
Vader darts in trying to clinch
and Waul counters with a nice leg kick.
Waul loads up on a big right hand but Vader slips the punch.
Vader closes the distance looking to clinch
and Waul counters with a good low kick that Vader was not able to check.
Waul scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vader doesn't seem bothered though.

Waul throws a series of punches but Vader moves out of range.

and Waul counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Waul.

Waul tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vader was well out of range. Poor timing from Waul.
Vader throws an off balance right hand
and Waul cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lord Vader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vader tries to clinch but Waul moves away
and Waul counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Waul lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Waul swings for the body but Vader moves out of range.
Waul throws a leg kick which misses Vader's front leg but catches the back leg as Vader tries to avoid it.

Vader is breathing heavily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Waul darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Waul misses with a two punch combination.
Vader walks into a straight right hand from Waul.
Vader tries to clinch but Waul moves away
and Waul counters with a stiff right hand.
Waul is looking to slow Vader down with leg kicks.
Waul cracks a nice hook into Vader's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Waul bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Waul keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Waul feints and then cracks Vader's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vader down.
Paul Waul is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A slapping body kick lands there for Waul.
Waul ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Waul lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Waul feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Vader's calf.
Waul looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Waul fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vader has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Waul.

Waul works on Vader's body with a couple of short punches.

Waul lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Vader is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Vader really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Waul digs a right hand into Vader's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Vader's gas tank.

Waul lands with a nice body punch.
Waul lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Donk. Waul catches Vader right on the button with a cross.

Vader is rocked!
Waul fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Waul instigates a clinch.

Waul breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Waul uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Oh Vader is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Waul tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vader seems to have got his legs back now.

Waul fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vader, pushing him back against the cage.
Waul presses Vader against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Waul lands with a light punch inside.
Waul throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Vaders head.
Waul lands a body shot in the clinch.
Waul lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Waul lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Waul is working Vader over against the cage.

Waul breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Waul - that will leave a mark!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Waul lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Waul.
Vader takes one on the button.
Waul throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vader stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Vader shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Waul fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vader, pushing him back against the cage.
Vader has Waul pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Waul manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Waul digs a right hand underneath Vader's ribcage. Vader let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Waul lands a shoulder strike.
Waul scores with a nice hook to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Waul creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Waul.
Nice body punch from Waul - that landed with a thud.
Waul lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Vader or not.

Waul lands a right hand that snaps the head of Vader backwards.
Waul lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Waul digs a right hand into Vader's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Vader's gas tank.

Waul's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Waul darts in and clinches Vader up against the cage.

Waul creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Vader with a big uppercut! Vader tries to clinch up but Waul pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Vader to the mat! Vader covers up and Waul unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
