Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lorenzo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Couture throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lorenzo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Couture throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lorenzo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Lorenzo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Randy Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lorenzo has managed to clinch.
Lorenzo tries to land a knee to the head but Couture blocks with his arms.

Lorenzo lands a left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lorenzo scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Couture throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lorenzo blocks it with crossed arms.

Couture with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Lorenzo lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Couture with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Couture tries to pull guard but Lorenzo holds him up against the cage and eventually Couture drops back down to his feet.
Couture looks gassed!
Lorenzo has Couture pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lorenzo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Couture tumbling to the mat - Lorenzo dives into Couture's guard.
Lorenzo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Couture striking off his back but it's not causing Lorenzo any problems.
Couture really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lorenzo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lorenzo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Lorenzo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Couture looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lorenzo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Couture is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lorenzo lets go of the hold and Couture can pop his arm back in it's socket.
