The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva has closed the distance and engaged Ribeiro in a clinch.
Ribeiro is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Ribeiro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.

Ribeiro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Silva wants to control from the top but Ribeiro keeps moving.
Silva is standing up over Ribeiro. Ribeiro looks to escape but Silva dives into side control.

Ribeiro tries to buck Silva off but he can't manage it.

Ribeiro is trying to get back to his feet but Silva has full control of the position and if anything, Ribeiro has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Silva shoots in but Ribeiro avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ribeiro throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Silva misses with a body punch
and Ribeiro counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Silva has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
