Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Den McNearsea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brooks Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McNearsea is defended easily by Banner.
McNearsea fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Banner to the ground. McNearsea is now in Banner's guard.
Banner seems keen to control McNearsea's posture.
Banner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McNearsea defends well.
McNearsea seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
McNearsea stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McNearsea is working hard here to advance position.
McNearsea engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
McNearsea trying to control the position from guard on top but Banner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Den McNearsea just wasn't active enough.
Banner looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
McNearsea looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McNearsea is trying to keep Banner in close.
McNearsea looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Banner drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Banner as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! McNearsea screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Banner! Nice submission victory there!
