Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between steven sarai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howard Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmidt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: B.Y.O.B by System of a Down. steven sarai had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 173.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sarai shoots in looking for a takedown but Schmidt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing sarai 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Schmidt tries a head kick but it misses.
sarai scores with a takedown into Schmidt's guard.
Schmidt wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and sarai manages to pass to side control.

sarai is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Schmidt is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

You get the feeling that Schmidt really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Schmidt is in a horrible position here. sarai smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

sarai is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! sarai extends the arm and Schmidt is forced to tap!
