Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Markus Sletten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mao Zedong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Markus Sletten has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Markus Sletten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mao Zedong!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zedong tries to keep at a distance but Sletten has taken the fight into the clinch.
Zedong looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sletten lands with a left to the head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sletten takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Sletten breaks from the clinch.
A jab from Sletten does it's job there.
Zedong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sletten as he jumps to the side.
Zedong rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zedong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sletten lands with a nice body punch.
Zedong drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Zedong with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sletten to score with a decent uppercut.
Sletten stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sletten wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sletten tries to score with a low kick but Zedong moves his leg out of the way.
Sletten fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zedong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Mao Zedong has been cut.
Sletten scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zedong doesn't seem bothered though.

Sletten has managed to clinch.
Sletten scores with a nice hook to the head.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Sletten.
A nice left hand lands by Sletten.
Sletten scores with a shot to the side of Zedong's head.
Sletten lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Zedong is rocked!
Sletten swings wildly with an uppercut but Zedong uses good head movement to avoid it.
A short uppercut from Sletten.
Sletten is leaning against Zedong and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Zedong's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Sletten breaks the clinch.

Sletten gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sletten lands an uppercut.
Sletten lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Zedong is still on wobbly legs! Can Sletten finish him?

Sletten's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zedong seems to have recovered his senses.
Zedong takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sletten misses with a leg kick.
Sletten scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

and Sletten counters with a leg kick.
Sletten throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Zedong crashing down! Zedong tries to stagger back to his feet but Sletten just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Zedong asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
