Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Capwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William comes to the cage accompanied by Outlaw's Reward . Capwell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Haunted - 99. James William could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mason Capwell's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James William! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Capwell! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! William throws a lazy uppercut
and Capwell counters with a stiff right hand. William tries to clinch but Capwell moves away and Capwell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. William misses with a hook
and Capwell counters with a nice double leg into side control. William won't be happy with that. William tries to buck Capwell off but Capwell is having none of it. William regains half guard there - taking advantage of Capwell's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Capwell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. William is looking to control Capwell's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can William avoid being mounted? Capwell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. William tries to get to full guard but Capwell has control of the leg. Capwell lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Capwell stalling away here and it's allowed William to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. William keeping moving, preventing Capwell from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. William keeping full guard, as Capwell tries to pass. William is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Capwell got a little sloppy there for a moment and William has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Capwell has managed to get both his arms back between William's legs - danger averted. William wants to hit a switch here but Capwell passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for William there! Capwell in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Capwell wants to control the pace but William is squirming around nicely. William keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. William in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. William is looking to improve his position but Capwell isn't that keen on the idea. William is working hard here to advance position. Capwell landing shots from mount.
It looks like James William has been cut. Capwell putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's three minutes gone in the round. William sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. William regains full guard. Nicely done. Capwell is working William over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. William manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
William throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
William avoids the attempt from Capwell to control. Capwell bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Capwell won't allow William to sweep him here. William is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. William wants to sweep here but Capwell controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Capwell pushing down on William's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Capwell stalling. Capwell lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. William wants to control but Capwell is keeping busy.
William looking for submissions off his back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. William looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. William gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mason Capwell dominated that round. The cut man is working on James William's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Capwell misses the shot to the body. Capwell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
William misses with an uppercut
and Capwell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. William displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Capwell throws out the jab. William swings widly with a right hand
and William takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Capwell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from William.
Capwell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Capwell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! William keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. William regains half guard. William wants to improve his position but Capwell is controlling well.
Capwell seems to be looking for submissions.
Ground and pound from Capwell. William wants to sweep but Capwell has passed to side control! William managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Capwell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. William tries to bench press Capwell off him but Capwell keeps the position. William is trying to control Capwell's posture but Capwell avoids it. Capwell is putting a hurting on William here, landing some big shots from side control.
James William's cut is getting worse. William taking punishment in the form of punches.
William is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Capwell is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and William defends it well. William is looking to control Capwell's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can William avoid being mounted? William is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Capwell jumps into side control! William is not content to let Capwell control the position. Capwell looks up at the clock and then as William takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Capwell smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's three minutes gone in the round. William is looking to reverse the position. William looks to move to half guard but instead Capwell has passed into mount! Damn! Capwell avoids the attempt from William to control. Capwell with the ground and pound from mount.
James William's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Capwell with the ground and pound from mount.
Jeez, James William's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at James William's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mason Capwell!
