Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bill Dance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shawn Kronburger!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dance walks into a jab.
Dance digs a good body shot into Kronburger's ribs.
Dance slips a straight right by Kronburger.
Kronburger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kronburger lands a nice shot that snaps Dance's head back.
Kronburger misses with a left hand
and Dance counters with a straight right hand.
Dance throws a looping overhand right but Kronburger ducks down to avoid it.
Dance slips a straight right by Kronburger.
Kronburger looks to score with a jab to the body but Dance is just out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Dance blocks the leg kick.

Dance checks a leg kick.
Kronburger throws a poor cross that misses
and Dance counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kronburger thinking.
Kronburger misses with a hook

and Dance counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kronburger won't be happy with that.
Dance is looking to take a break and control but Kronburger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dance content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Kronburger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dance wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kronburger is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Dance counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kronburger clobbers Dance with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A punch lands to the side of Dance 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Dance throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kronburger tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dance is in Kronburger's guard.

Dance postures up in Kronburger's guard and throws a big left but Kronburger blocks it.
Kronburger is trying to keep Dance in close.

Dance throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kronburger works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dance stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kronburger swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dance looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Dance wants to control from the top but Kronburger keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kronburger will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

enabling Kronburger to counter with a crisp jab.
Kronburger drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Dance counters with a right hand to the body.
Shawn Kronburger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fighters circling - Dance throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Dance shoots in and bounces Kronburger off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
