Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Janek Grzmot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juan Seffar! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grzmot attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Seffar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Grzmot.
Grzmot gets a clinch. Grzmot tries to break free but Seffar pushes him back against the cage. Grzmot connects with a knee to the head.
Seffar lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Janek Grzmot has been cut. Seffar pushes Grzmot back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Grzmot breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Seffar throws a right and a left that both miss. Grzmot has a takedown stuffed. Grzmot fails in his attempt to clinch. Seffar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Seffar lands in his opponent's guard. Seffar showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Grzmot trying to keep a closed guard but Seffar is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grzmot looking for subs off his back but Seffar has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seffar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Grzmot does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Grzmot moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Seffar stopping the sweep attempt from Grzmot. Seffar content to stall in guard here. Grzmot is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Grzmot looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Seffar passes into side control.
Grzmot wants to control but Seffar postures up. Grzmot is trying to get back to half guard. Seffar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grzmot keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grzmot is trying to escape the position but Seffar is controlling the position. Grzmot wants to control but Seffar postures up. Seffar tries to score with some ground and pound. Grzmot controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Grzmot tries to bench press Seffar off him but Seffar keeps the position. Seffar happy to just control the position for now. Grzmot tries to buck Seffar off but Seffar is having none of it.

Seffar is looking to take a break and control but Grzmot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Grzmot is looking to reverse the position. You can see the frustration on Grzmot's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Grzmot tries to improve position but can't. Seffar trying to control the position but Grzmot is working away. Grzmot manages to get back to half guard. Grzmot is not content to let Seffar control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Seffar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Janek Grzmot's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Grzmot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Seffar looks to land a combination but Grzmot avoids it well. Seffar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grzmot moves away. Grzmot wants to clinch but Seffar slips to the side so Seffar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Grzmot looking to control.

Grzmot is really struggling to control Seffar but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Janek Grzmot wasn't doing enough on the ground. Seffar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seffar swats away the attempt to clinch by Grzmot. Grzmot throws a body punch but Seffar moves out of range. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Seffar. Grzmot shrugs it off though. Grzmot misses with a low kick. Grzmot tries for a takedown but Seffar circles away easily and Seffar counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Grzmot! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Seffar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seffar trying to control but he's not successful this time. Seffar controlling from mount. Grzmot tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grzmot tries to hold on but Seffar postures up. Grzmot really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Seffar controlling from mount. Grzmot is squirming around, avoiding Seffar's attempts to control the action. Grzmot looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Grzmot breaks Seffar's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Grzmot takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Grzmot pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Grzmot takes a jab right on the kisser.
A right-left combo lands from Seffar. Grzmot misses with a series of wild punches.
Seffar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Seffar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Seffar looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grzmot lands with a thumping leg kick.
Grzmot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Seffar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Grzmot misses the jab. Seffar leaves Grzmot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Grzmot darts in trying to clinch and Seffar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Seffar. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Grzmot throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Seffar escapes and throws Grzmot's legs to the side, diving into side control! Juan Seffar has got the better of the ground game so far. Grzmot is looking to reverse the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grzmot is working hard here to advance position. Grzmot can't do much from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Seffar shoots in for a takedown but Grzmot shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Seffar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grzmot. A big left from Grzmot misses. Grzmot swings widly with a right hand
and Seffar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Seffar. Seffar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grzmot has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Seffar has managed to get both his arms back between Grzmot's legs - danger averted. Seffar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Grzmot striking off his back but it's not causing Seffar any problems. Grzmot wants to sweep here but Seffar controlling him for the moment. Grzmot working for a triangle but Seffar defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seffar wants to control from the top but Grzmot keeps moving. Grzmot wants to hit a switch here but Seffar passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Grzmot there! Seffar avoids the attempt from Grzmot to control. Seffar controlling the position easily from mount. Seffar looking to control but Grzmot is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Grzmot is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Seffar manages to capitalize on a mistake by Grzmot to take his back! Seffar is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Seffar avoiding Grzmot 's attempts to control his hands. Seffar working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Grzmot right now.
Grzmot just trying to survive but Seffar is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Seffar is looking to control Grzmot but Grzmot is wriggling around and keeping busy. Grzmot turns into Seffar and is now in his guard.
Juan Seffar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Grzmot postures up in Seffar's guard and throws a big left but Seffar blocks it. Seffar tries to land a sweep but no joy. Grzmot is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Seffar is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Grzmot takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Grzmot throws an off balance right hand
and Seffar counters with a left to the body. Seffar works over Grzmot's head and body with a nice combination. Seffar scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Grzmot doesn't seem bothered though. Janek Grzmot has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Grzmot lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Seffar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Seffar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Juan Seffar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Grzmot throws a hook but Seffar blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! Juan Seffar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Seffar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
