Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamaz Otstoev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay manster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kamaz Otstoev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jay manster! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Otstoev fails with a takedown attempt. manster misses with a takedown attempt and Otstoev counters by moving into the clinch. manster prevents a takedown attempt there.
manster jumps into guard, dragging Otstoev to the mat.
Otstoev wants to stand but manster is controlling his posture from full guard. manster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Otstoev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Otstoev content to stall in guard here. manster manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Otstoev throws a wild body kick that manster sees coming a mile off. manster throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Otstoev. manster drives through and clinches with Otstoev against the cage.
Otstoev is pressed up against the cage. manster has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Otstoev down to the mat. Otstoev avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Otstoev misses with a takedown and manster counters with a nice double leg into side control. Otstoev won't be happy with that.
Otstoev is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kamaz Otstoev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. manster working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Oh Otstoev is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! manster working away. Otstoev seems to have got his legs back now. manster is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Otstoev has escaped the position, nice work there. Otstoev really is a fat lump. manster trying to control the action but Otstoev is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Otstoev's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Otstoev wants to get back to his feet but manster drags him back down. Otstoev is trying to escape the position but manster is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. manster is looking to take a break and control but Otstoev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. manster has managed to clinch.
Otstoev misses with a short punch on the inside. manster is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Otstoev can't fight it off and eventually manster manages to take the fight to the floor. Otstoev looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Otstoev trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Otstoev is looking to stand up but manster isn't so interested in that idea. manster wants to control from the top but Otstoev keeps moving. manster must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Otstoev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. manster is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. manster looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Otstoev looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Otstoev seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. manster tries to stand but Otstoev is controlling from the bottom. manster thows a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Otstoev trying to keep a closed guard but manster is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. manster won't allow Otstoev to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Otstoev has taken the fight to the clinch.
Otstoev wants to get back to striking at distance but manster won't allow it.
manster manages to break the clinch.
Otstoev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Otstoev looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for manster! Otstoev controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Otstoev looking to finish with strikes here!
Otstoev controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay manster dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
manster fails to land the takedown. manster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Otstoev tries to avoid it but manster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Otstoev to the ground. Otstoev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. manster shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Otstoev as he avoids it easily. Kamaz Otstoev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay manster. Otstoev misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Otstoev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. manster shoots for a takedown but Otstoev saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. manster keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Otstoev tries to clinch but fails miserably and manster counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Otstoev works his way to full guard. Good work. Otstoev controlling manster's posture. Otstoev trying to keep a closed guard but manster is proving a slippery customer.
Otstoev might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Otstoev lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for manster! Otstoev sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jay manster has got the better of the ground game so far. Otstoev has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! manster is forced to tap!
