Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nathan St Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robson Moura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Peters kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Time By Culture Club. Nathan St Peters had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 137.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robson Moura! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Peters shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. St Peters showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moura won't allow St Peters to pass to mount. Moura tries to roll over but St Peters keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Peters trying to control from half guard but Moura is working away.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Nathan St Peters wasn't doing enough on the ground. Moura misses with a takedown and St Peters counters with a takedown into side control. St Peters throws a strike aimed at the side of Moura's head but Moura avoids it well. St Peters working away. St Peters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moura on the ground. St Peters taking a break here but Moura is having none of it and regains half guard.

Moura tries for a takedown but St Peters circles away easily and St Peters counters with a single leg into guard. Moura didn't expect that. Moura controlling St Peters's posture. Moura tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Moura closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into St Peters's guard. Moura advances position into side control! St Peters is looking to regain half guard here but Moura keeps moving and retains side control. Moura tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Moura has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! St Peters is breathing heavily. St Peters gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan St Peters dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Moura with a poor takedown and St Peters counters with a takedown into side control. Moura gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. St Peters wants to take a breather but Moura is having none of it. Moura is pressing down on St Peters's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moura is trying to keep St Peters in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moura lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for St Peters! Moura looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Moura is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but St Peters is surviving well by controlling Moura's body position as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moura wants to control the pace but St Peters is squirming around nicely. Moura is working for a guillotine from mount but St Peters frees his head quite easily.
Moura takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moura looking for a guillotine from mount but St Peters is having none of it. Moura is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, St Peters has managed to escape the submission attempt.
St Peters tries to reverse the position but Moura maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moura working for a guillotine from mount but St Peters is in no mood to give up. Moura has control of St Peters's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and St Peters regains control of the situation pretty easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moura has isolated one of St Peters's arms. St Peters looking to fight him off but Moura twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
