Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Pavarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Angel I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Pavarez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Markus Angel I! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angel I falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pavarez counters by moving into the clinch. Angel I taking a breather. Pavarez wants the takedown. Angel I is fighting it off but Pavarez persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Angel I's guard against the cage. Angel I has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Angel I keeping moving, preventing Pavarez from controlling successfully. Pavarez stands and steps away. Angel I gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pavarez misses with a few strikes there.
Pavarez scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Pavarez wants to pass to mount but Angel I is defending the position. Pavarez controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angel I wants to control but Pavarez is keeping busy.
Pavarez is looking to advance position but Angel I won't allow it. Angel I holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Pavarez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Anthony Pavarez wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Angel I scores with a body shot.
Angel I with a poor takedown and Pavarez counters with a shoot takedown. Angel I fights it but they end up in guard. Pavarez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Angel I is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pavarez wants to control from the top but Angel I keeps moving. Pavarez is breathing heavily. Angel I throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Angel I is trying to control the position from the bottom.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Angel I has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pavarez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Angel I has tightened it up now! Pavarez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Markus Angel I!
