The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Martin misses with a hook
and Cruel counters with a stiff right hand.
Martin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Martin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Martin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cruel can pounce on him.
Cruel looks to land a combination but Martin avoids it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Martin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cruel's face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That's time! Martin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Cruel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Martin throws an overhand right that lands on Cruel's shoulder, as Cruel tries to avoid the shot.
Cruel is still on wobbly legs! Can Martin finish him?
Martin throws a looping overhand right but Cruel ducks down to avoid it.
Cruel seems to have recovered his senses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cruel is defended easily by Martin.
Cruel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Martin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Martin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Martin counters with a takedown into side control.

Cruel seems a little lost for a moment, as Martin dominates the positioning.

Cruel can't do much from the bottom here.

Cruel tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Martin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Cruel takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Martin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Martin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cruel keeps working.
Cruel tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Martin presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Martin postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Cruel in real trouble here! The ref calls for Cruel to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nolan Martin!
