The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales throws a right and a left that Lotito avoids nicely.
Lotito avoids the head kick by Gonzales.
Lotito wants to clinch up but Gonzales keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lotito looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lotito throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lotito dives in and grabs Gonzales's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gonzales pushes down on Lotito's head and hops out.
Lotito manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gonzales on his heels. He'll look to pass Gonzales's guard now, I'm sure.
Lotito is breathing heavily.

Gonzales is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lotito defends well.
Lotito wants to control from the top but Gonzales keeps moving.

Jose Gonzales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gonzales moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lotito stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gonzales.
Lotito shoots in for a takedown but Gonzales shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Gonzales throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Gonzales walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lotito drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Gonzales swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lotito's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
