Grant has chosen Wait and Bleed by Slipknot as his entrance music. Ryan Grant has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Robert De Noteboom's chin.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Grant! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grant misses with a telegraphed body shot
and De Noteboom counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by De Noteboom. De Noteboom is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Robert De Noteboom. Nice defenses there by De Noteboom. Grant throws an ugly left hook that misses
and De Noteboom counters with a nice double leg into half guard. De Noteboom seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

and De Noteboom counters with a single leg into guard. Grant didn't expect that. De Noteboom showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

and De Noteboom counters with a nice double leg into guard. De Noteboom has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. De Noteboom passes Grant's left leg - he's now in half guard. Grant is looking to improve his position.

Robert De Noteboom dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Grant tries for a takedown but De Noteboom circles away easily and De Noteboom counters with a nice double leg into guard. Grant wants to sweep but no luck. Grant working for a triangle but De Noteboom defends it easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Robert De Noteboom wasn't doing enough on the ground. The fighters circling - Grant throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Grant throws a hook but De Noteboom blocks it. Grant gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and De Noteboom counters with a nice double leg into guard. De Noteboom looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Grant manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant wants to stand but De Noteboom is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Grant wants to control the pace but De Noteboom is squirming around nicely. Grant swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and De Noteboom is now in Grant's guard. A big mistake from Grant there, giving up the dominant position! De Noteboom is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Robert De Noteboom. De Noteboom looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Grant wants to improve his position but De Noteboom is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert De Noteboom dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Grant misses with a takedown and De Noteboom decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Grant's guard. De Noteboom's corner is telling him to maintain position. De Noteboom has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Robert De Noteboom wasn't doing enough on the ground. Grant misses with a body shot.
De Noteboom fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Grant to the ground. De Noteboom is now in Grant's guard. De Noteboom preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant looking to control but De Noteboom passes into half guard.
De Noteboom passes to full mount! De Noteboom takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Grant is in all sorts of trouble here.
Grant tries to hold on but De Noteboom pushes him away. De Noteboom controlling the pace for now. Grant wants to control but De Noteboom is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant is desperately trying to improve his position but De Noteboom has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ryan Grant wasn't active enough on the ground. De Noteboom looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Grant! De Noteboom controlling the pace for now. Robert De Noteboom is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryan Grant has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Robert De Noteboom showed his dominance in that final round. Well De Noteboom has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today.
