Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerbe lets loose with a powerful body kick. McSlopperson will feel that in the morning.
McSlopperson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gerbe is looking to reverse the position.
McSlopperson tries to advance to mount but Gerbe denies him.
Gerbe is trying to get back to half guard.
Gerbe is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
You can see the frustration on Gerbe's face as McSlopperson controls the position.
McSlopperson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
McSlopperson is trying to get an arm triangle but Gerbe is defending well.

McSlopperson tries to advance to mount but can't.
Gerbe tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McSlopperson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
McSlopperson stands up and beckons Gerbe to his feet.
Gerbe looks to land a body kick but McSlopperson moved away.
McSlopperson wants to clinch up but Gerbe keeps it at a distance.
Gerbe connects with a solid leg kick.

Gerbe lands a front kick.
Gerbe bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Gerbe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McSlopperson.
McSlopperson throws a series of punches but Gerbe moves out of range.
Gerbe throws a wild body kick that McSlopperson sees coming a mile off.
McSlopperson scores with a takedown into Gerbe's guard.
McSlopperson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gerbe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McSlopperson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gerbe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
McSlopperson stopping the sweep attempt from Gerbe.
McSlopperson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gerbe on the ground.
Gerbe can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McSlopperson controls the pace.
Gerbe is trying to control the position but McSlopperson postures up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McSlopperson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sloppy McSlopperson wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Gerbe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

McSlopperson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McSlopperson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gerbe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McSlopperson has managed to get both his arms back between Gerbe's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sloppy McSlopperson will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gerbe lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McSlopperson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McSlopperson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
McSlopperson drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gerbe being controlled here, momentarily.
Gerbe controls McSlopperson momentarily but McSlopperson frees himself.
McSlopperson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Sloppy McSlopperson just wasn't active enough.
McSlopperson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gerbe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Gerbe looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
McSlopperson misses with a wild body shot.

McSlopperson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Gerbe bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
McSlopperson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

McSlopperson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
McSlopperson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gerbe wants to control from the top but McSlopperson keeps moving.
McSlopperson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gerbe is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gerbe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
McSlopperson lands with a heel strike from the guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gerbe wants to control from the top but McSlopperson keeps moving.

McSlopperson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's time! McSlopperson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
McSlopperson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gerbe to the mat! Gerbe manages to get full guard.
Gerbe controls McSlopperson momentarily but McSlopperson frees himself.

Gerbe throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! McSlopperson escapes and throws Gerbe's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Gerbe is looking to regain half guard here but McSlopperson keeps moving and retains side control.
Sloppy McSlopperson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

McSlopperson takes a little break here. Gerbe wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

McSlopperson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gerbe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gerbe is working to avoid the ground and pound but McSlopperson connects with a decent elbow.

McSlopperson cracks Gerbe with a big right hand but Gerbe just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
You can see the frustration on Gerbe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
McSlopperson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gerbe will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Gerbe wants to control but McSlopperson postures up.
McSlopperson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gerbe to his feet.
Tyler Gerbe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
McSlopperson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gerbe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Gerbe regains full guard. Nicely done.
Gerbe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McSlopperson's guard.
Gerbe is fighting to break McSlopperson's control of his arms but McSlopperson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
McSlopperson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
McSlopperson wants to hit a switch here but Gerbe passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for McSlopperson there!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McSlopperson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
