A fine choice. De Costa has chosen Synphony of Destruction by Megadeth as his entrance music. Hades Hug could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Razor De Costa's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Costa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hug sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten De Costa somewhat.

De Costa misses with a takedown attempt - Hug sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Razor De Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
De Costa avoids the head kick by Hug.
Hug throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Hug dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on De Costa. That did some damage!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hades Hug dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Razor De Costa's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hug throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent De Costa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
De Costa moves forwards but Hug connects with a nice, crisp jab.
De Costa closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

That kick from Hug tenderised De Costa's leg. De Costa is trying to keep his angry face on.

De Costa tries to clinch up but Hug circles away and keeps his distance.
