Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Kiedis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Piechocki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ariel Piechocki enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnny Kiedis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ariel Piechocki!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiedis throws a head kick that half lands.
Kiedis throws a head kick but Piechocki moves out of range.
Kiedis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kiedis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kiedis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kiedis chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Piechocki moves out of range of the body kick.
Kiedis throws a quick inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Piechocki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Kiedis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Piechocki.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kiedis preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Piechocki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kiedis defends it well.
Kiedis is looking to escape.
Piechocki works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kiedis is trying to stand up.

Piechocki throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kiedis because Piechocki loaded up on that one.
Kiedis is in all sorts of trouble here.

Kiedis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Piechocki on the ground.
Piechocki misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Piechocki tries to control but Kiedis wriggling away.

You get the feeling that Kiedis really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kiedis tries to lock up and control but Piechocki gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Piechocki thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Kiedis blocking the ground and pound.
Kiedis is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Kiedis trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Piechocki scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kiedis?

Kiedis won't allow Piechocki to pass to mount.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Kiedis will probably get the nod.

Kiedis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Piechocki.

Kiedis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kiedis connects with a solid leg kick.
Kiedis swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Kiedis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Piechocki throws a body punch but Kiedis moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Piechocki takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Piechocki is breathing heavily.
A head kick misses from Kiedis.
Kiedis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kiedis thumps Piechocki with a low kick.
Kiedis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Piechocki.
Kiedis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kiedis throws a body punch but Piechocki moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kiedis lands a big head kick that sends Piechocki tumbling to the mat! Kiedis takes a step backwards and waves Piechocki back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Piechocki is rocked!
Kiedis throws a powerful right kick. Piechocki tried to block low but the kick was high! Piechocki was taken right off of his feet! Kiedis jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Johnny Kiedis!
