Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jackson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Joker & The Thief. Hero has chosen No shelter - Rage against the machine as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christopher Hero!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hero doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A shot to the body from Jackson misses
and Hero cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jackson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Jackson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jackson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Jackson jumps guard but Hero stands there with Jackson around his waist. Jackson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hero is trying to trip Jackson. He has hold of a leg but Jackson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hero persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Hero seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Jackson controlling the position.
Jackson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hero drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Hero off! Hero jumps back into Jackson's guard.
Hero postures up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hero lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Jackson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hero drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jackson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hero has Jackson in his guard.
Hero lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jackson!
Jackson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jackson tries to lock up and control but Hero gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hero wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely.
Hero prevents Jackson from getting the reversal.
Hero trying to control but Jackson is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hero jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jackson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Jackson tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hero tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hero wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Hero drags him back down.
Jackson is not content to let Hero control the position.
Hero is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jackson has escaped the position, nice work there.
Hero is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jackson is trying to escape and Hero transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jackson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hero! Very nice indeed!
