Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roan Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller's entrance music is renegade. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Miller wants to control but Marshall is keeping busy.
Marshall wants to pass to mount but Miller is defending the position. Marshall is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Miller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Marshall. Marshall is looking for a kimura here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Marshall keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Marshall connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Marshall decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Marshall looks gassed! Miller is trying to stand.

Marshall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Marshall pulls out of a head kick attempt.

so Miller counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Marshall wants to stand but Miller is controlling the position. Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Marshall is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Miller throwing strikes but missing. Miller scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Miller throws a strike but Marshall rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Miller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Marshall is controlling him. Marshall throws and elbow that misses. Miller uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Marshall's guard. Nice move by Miller! Marshall wants to stand up but Miller is controlling him. Miller landing with the ground and pound.

It looks like Roan Marshall has been cut. Miller shoots and misses and Marshall cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Miller takes a jab right on the kisser.

That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miller wants to stand and escape but Marshall is having none of it. Marshall is in close to Miller's body, working some short punches and elbows. Marshall sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miller's guard. Marshall seems to be working for a kimura but Miller defends the submission attempt. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Marshall throws a push kick but Miller slaps the foot to one side. Miller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marshall is fending him off so far but Miller persists. Nope, Marshall circles away and we're back to standing. Marshall lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Miller shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Marshall napping and manages to drive through into side control! Marshall throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Marshall misses with the combination.

Marshall pushes Miller against the cage but Miller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Miller has his takedown stuffed letting Marshall counter with a right hand. Miller shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Marshall counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Miller's guard now. Miller scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Marshall throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily. Miller closes the distance and clinches up with Marshall, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes Marshall against the cage but Marshall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Miller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Marshall lands a head kick!

Marshall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller looks like he's trying to stand up.

And that's the end of the fight! Roan Marshall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Marshall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
