The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Riley is trying to stand up here but Anderson is controlling him well.
Well, if Anderson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Anderson is pressing down on Riley's thigh, looking to free his foot. Riley is holding on for now.

It looks like Anderson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Wagner Anderson was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Riley moves in looking to clinch but Anderson pushes him off.

Riley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Anderson uses from the top position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Riley is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anderson seems to be looking for submissions.

Anderson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
