Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Chicken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Ickey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chicken comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in the name of. Ickey has chosen BONKERS as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Chicken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Ickey! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chicken throws a right and a left that both miss. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Chicken darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Chicken is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ickey is trying to get back to full guard. Ickey wants to control but Chicken is keeping busy and won't allow it. Chicken is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ickey defends it well. Ickey is looking for a sweep. Chicken is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Chicken is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ickey! Chicken get's back to his feet. Ickey jabs Chicken right on the nose. Chicken blinks but takes it well. Chicken tries to clinch but Ickey moves out of range. Chicken darts in and clinches Ickey up against the cage. Ickey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chicken throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ickey tries to clinch but Chicken is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Ickey looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chicken closes the distance and lands a one-two. Ickey stuffs the takedown. Ickey wants to clinch. Ickey showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chicken.
Chicken tries to clinch up but Ickey circles away and keeps his distance. Ickey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chicken swats him away and circles back towards the center. Chicken looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ickey is trying to control the position but Chicken postures up. Chicken wants to pass the guard but Ickey is keeping the position. Chicken decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ickey, up you get! Chicken darts in and clinches Ickey up against the cage. Chicken missing with knees to the body.

Chicken is breathing heavily. Chicken manages to break the clinch.
Chicken circles away from the clinch attempt and Chicken decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ickey's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chicken postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Chicken trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chicken thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ickey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chicken's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ickey with a flurry of punches that miss. Ickey controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ickey scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Chicken working a defensive guard here.
Ickey wants to control from the top but Chicken keeps moving. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chicken looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ickey puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Chicken is doing well to control the position and prevent Ickey from advancing to side control. Chicken wants to control but Ickey is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chicken is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ickey wants to get back to his feet.
Ickey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chicken. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Chicken throws a sloppy head kick and Ickey moves out of range easily. Ickey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Chicken! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chicken regains half guard. Ickey is keen to just control but Chicken is a slippery customer. Chicken makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chicken. Ickey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chicken's guard. Ickey wants to control but Chicken is keeping him busy. Ickey is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Chicken is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chicken is working hard here to advance position. Ickey stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Chicken closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ickey fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Chicken is trying to trip Ickey. He has hold of a leg but Ickey is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Chicken persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Ickey is pulling down on Chicken's head to control his posture. Chicken is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Chicken stands up and waves to Ickey to follow him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chicken tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ickey shoots in for a takedown but Chicken shows good takedown defense. Ickey shoots in but Chicken avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mike Chicken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Ickey. Chicken fails with a takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Ickey or perhaps it was just good defense by Chicken which made him look bad. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Chicken dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Chicken shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ickey's guard. Chicken gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Chicken clinches up against the cage. Chicken wants to break free but Ickey has control.
Chicken breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ickey with a lazy takedown attempt and Chicken counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Chicken keeps the fight on the outside. Chicken scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Chicken postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Ickey to stand up. Ickey tries to clinch there but Chicken circles away.
Chicken lands with a kick to the temple. Ickey shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Ickey tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Chicken counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ickey won't be happy with that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chicken is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ickey has escaped the position, nice work there. Chicken wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ickey, who protects the arm well. Ickey prevents Chicken from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ickey sneaks back into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ickey is trying to get back to full guard. Chicken tries to pass to full mount but Ickey defends it. Ickey is looking to improve his position.
Chicken frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Chicken is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ickey has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ickey keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Chicken looking to secure an arm triangle but Ickey defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ickey is trying to escape the mount.
Chicken working for a submission but Ickey is keeping him at bay. Chicken lands a big elbow. Chicken looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Chicken landing punches. Chicken is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Ickey gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ickey lands an elbow inside. Chicken pulls guard effortlessly. Chicken looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chicken looking for a guillotine here but Ickey defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chicken keeping moving, preventing Ickey from controlling successfully. Ickey looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Ickey trying to control but Chicken is working from the bottom. Ickey might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Chicken kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Chicken looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ickey tries to free his leg and advance position but Chicken is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ickey is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ickey trying to control the position from guard on top but Chicken is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chicken is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ickey stands up from Chicken's guard - Ickey perhaps looking for a knockout. Chicken forces Ickey back against the cage and clinches. Chicken taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Chicken landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Chicken jumps guard and drags Ickey to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Mike Chicken overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Chicken manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Chicken will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chicken clinches but Ickey breaks the clinch and Ickey counters with a flying knee. Nice. Ickey clinches but Chicken breaks the clinch and Chicken counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Chicken breaks from the clinch.
Chicken swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ickey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Chicken's guard now. Ickey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chicken swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Chicken dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Ickey is looking to clinch but Chicken is avoiding it.
Chicken moves into range and clinches up with Ickey. Ickey is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chicken gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Nice body punch from Chicken. Chicken trying to land knees to the body.
Chicken is trying to break free. Ickey can't break the clinch.

Chicken lands a body punch in the clinch. Chicken breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chicken fails to land with a series of punches.
Ickey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ickey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ickey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Chicken is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Ickey is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Chicken can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Chicken is wriggling around trying to escape.
Chicken sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Chicken manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Chicken is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chicken is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ickey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ickey wants to control from the top but Chicken keeps moving. Chicken looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Chicken keeping full guard, as Ickey tries to pass. Chicken is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Ickey frees his head nicely. Oh but Chicken has switched to an armbar! Ickey is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
