Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rocky Bullwinkle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Schutte!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullwinkle shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Schutte tries to roll over but Bullwinkle keeps him under control.
Bullwinkle is thwarting Schutte's attempts to control the position.
Bullwinkle uses his free foot to push down on Schutte's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Schutte.
Bullwinkle punching from mount but Schutte doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Bullwinkle has control of Schutte's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Schutte regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bullwinkle is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Bullwinkle!
