Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abu Khalid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demarcus Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ware is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Put on. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalid circles away from the clinch attempt.
Some bone on bone action there as Khalid checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Khalid misses with a hook.
Khalid stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Khalid wants it to stay on the feet.
Ware throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Abu Khalid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ware moves in looking to clinch but Khalid pushes him off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Ware counters with a nice double leg into side control. Khalid won't be happy with that.
Ware is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Khalid has escaped the position, nice work there.

Ware looking to control but instead Khalid has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Khalid is staying active underneath Ware, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ware seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khalid feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ware sprawling to the canvas! Ware rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Khalid finish him?!

and Khalid makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Demarcus Ware's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

I would just about give that final round to Demarcus Ware.
