Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cody Harlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuyu Hakusho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cody Harlow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yuyu Hakusho!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakusho throws a jab but it's blocked by Harlow.
A big right from Hakusho misses.
Harlow fails with a takedown attempt.

Harlow lands a slapping body shot.

Harlow scores with a takedown into Hakusho's guard.

Hakusho is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Harlow trying to control but Hakusho is working from the bottom.
Harlow postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Harlow is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Harlow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hakusho swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hakusho looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Harlow throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Harlow drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hakusho trying to keep a closed guard but Harlow is proving a slippery customer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hakusho had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Harlow is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hakusho Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Harlow's back instead.
Hakusho looks gassed!

Harlow is having to fend off submission attempts from Hakusho, who is looking to sink in the choke. Hakusho doesn't have the hooks in though and Harlow manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hakusho can't keep his opponent in guard - Harlow advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hakusho is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hakusho is looking to control Harlow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hakusho avoid being mounted?

Harlow seems to be looking for submissions.
Hakusho is looking to improve his position.
Hakusho is pressing down on Harlow's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Hakusho keeping moving, preventing Harlow from controlling successfully.
Harlow might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Harlow tries to free his leg and advance position but Hakusho is retaining full guard.
Harlow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Harlow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hakusho swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hakusho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harlow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harlow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hakusho is working the ground and pound. Can Harlow escape?

Hakusho has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Harlow has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hakusho connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Harlow to escape the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Hakusho's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Harlow tries to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Yuyu Hakusho will probably get the nod.

Hakusho catches Harlow with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hakusho. Harlow shrugs it off though.
Harlow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hakusho lands a head kick. Harlow smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Harlow is rocked!
Hakusho throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Harlow crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Yuyu Hakusho!
