Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Broph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David comes to the cage accompanied by Craig David - Rise and Fall. Craig David has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig David! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Broph! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David with a lazy takedown attempt letting Broph counter with a right hand. Broph lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Broph moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Craig David has been cut. Broph tests David's chin there with a solid looking shot. David doesn't succeed with the takedown and Broph counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Broph throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Broph connects with a good right hand that stumbles David. David circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Jab from Broph.

Broph is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Broph lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
David feints and as Broph raises his hands in defense, David changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Broph pushes David off and scrambles back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Broph connects with an inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. David tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. David misses with a takedown attempt and Broph counters with a low kick, right behind David 's knee. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig David. That's going to take a lot out of him. David is breathing heavily. Danga de danga de dang - Broph scores with a four punch combination! David takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Broph closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Broph looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Broph throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed David's head. David wants to control but Broph is keeping busy and won't allow it. David might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. David keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Broph wants to lay and pray for a moment but David keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. David blocking the ground and pound attempt from Broph. Broph is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. David is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Broph pulls his head out easily. Broph thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed David's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Broph is figuring out what he wants to do next. Broph has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Broph seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A good leg kick by Broph. Craig Broph seems to be getting the better of the standup. David with a poor takedown and Broph makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. David has his takedown stuffed and Broph counters with a three punch combo that has David backing up. David nods at Broph to acknowledge the strikes. Broph shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Broph showed some decent athleticism there. Broph slows the pace down in half guard. David looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Broph thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Broph seems to be looking for submissions.
Broph is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Broph thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed David's head. Broph scoring with strikes to the body and head. David tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Broph winds up and cracks David with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Broph landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Broph working the head and body with strikes. David on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. David regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Broph. Broph trying to control but David is working from the bottom. Broph works over David with some ground and pound from guard. Broph pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. David is keeping the position for now. Broph stands up over David, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Broph postures up in David's guard and throws a big left but David blocks it. Broph working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Broph throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Broph works a leg free and moves into half guard. Broph not landing any meaningful shots this time. Broph missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Broph working David over with strikes. Broph thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ground and pound from Broph.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Broph sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. David defending well though. Broph drops an elbow to the side of David's head. Broph trying to control the action but David is working from the bottom. Broph scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Broph passes to side control. Broph has been the more effective fighter overall so far. David is not content to let Broph control the position. Broph creates some space and throws a big elbow, but David sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Craig Broph showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Craig David's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Craig David's cut is getting worse. The crowd cheers as Broph lands an impressive looking overhand right. David doesn't seem phased though. Broph throws a body punch but David moves out of range. David tries for a takedown but Broph circles away easily and Broph counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. David walks into a left hand. David misses with a takedown and Broph counters with a left to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. David slips a jab and a cross from Broph.
Broph throws a quick inside leg kick. David is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Broph drives through with a takedown into David's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Broph connects with a couple of short punches. Broph is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Broph trying to control the position from guard on top but David is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. David trying to strike off his back.

Broph throwing shots but David is blocking nicely. Broph moves into full mount! David won't be happy about that! Craig Broph has got the better of the ground game so far. Broph raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Broph looking to control but David is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Broph landing shots from mount. Broph landing strikes from the mount. Broph lands a big shot there that rocks David but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Craig David's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Craig David's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
