Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kunta Kinte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolo Halike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kinte's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Baka Survivor!. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikolo Halike!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinte dodges the punch combination from Halike.
Kinte misses with a leg kick
and Halike counters with a nice body shot.
Halike misses with an uppercut. Kinte saw that one coming.
Halike throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good leg kick by Halike there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kinte throws a lazy body kick
and Halike counters with a thumping low kick.
Kinte really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Kinte gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Halike counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kinte thinking.
Halike wants to clinch.
Kinte moves away from the strike by Halike.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kinte throws a body kick, spinning off balance
letting Halike counter with a right hand.
Halike tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kinte paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Halike works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A low kick from Kinte misses
and Halike counters with a straight right hand.
Halike throws a shot from downtown. Kinte moves away and avoids it.
Halike throws a hook but Kinte blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A head kick by Kinte misses
and Halike counters with a low kick, right behind Kinte 's knee.
Kinte misses with the body kick
and Halike counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Halike with a jab.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kinte throws a leg kick that is checked
and Halike cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nikolo Halike dominated that round.
That's time! Kinte's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kinte displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Halike throws out the jab.
Kinte circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Halike counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Halike throws a nice looking combination but Kinte bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kinte looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Halike!
Halike really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kinte throws a strike there. Halike manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kinte has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Halike defend it? Kinte steps over the head and cranks it - Halike is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kinte!
