13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abe Patterson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Banuelos doesn't seem bothered though.
Banuelos throws a front kick aimed at Patterson's knee but Patterson avoids it well.
Patterson lands with an uppercut that bounces Banuelos off the cage and back into rage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Patterson throws out a loose jab but Banuelos uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Patterson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Patterson.
Patterson is fighting to break Banuelos's control of his arms but Banuelos is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Banuelos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Patterson on the ground.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Some bone on bone action there as Patterson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Patterson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Patterson is trying to work for a kimura but Banuelos is defending well.

Patterson stands up out of the half guard.
Banuelos tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Patterson is able to avoid easily.
Banuelos takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Patterson moves out of range of the strikes.
Patterson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Banuelos lands a leg kick that knocks Patterson off balance momentarily.

Patterson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Banuelos.

and Patterson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Banuelos!
Patterson avoids the attempt from Banuelos to control.
Patterson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Banuelos can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that's the end of the fight!
Abe Patterson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Patterson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
