Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bambam Rubble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musse Hasselvall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bambam Rubble! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Musse Hasselvall! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasselvall closes the distance and clinches up with Rubble, looking for a takedown. Hasselvall pushes Rubble against the cage but Rubble circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rubble moves in looking to clinch but Hasselvall pushes him off. Hasselvall avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Rubble has his takedown stuffed so Hasselvall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hasselvall is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rubble is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rubble has escaped and now he's on top! Rubble trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hasselvall's guard. Hasselvall is trying to control the position but Rubble postures up. Rubble stays in close to Hasselvall's body and controls the position. Hasselvall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hasselvall manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Hasselvall is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rubble has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rubble! Rubble preventing the sweep. Hasselvall isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rubble stacks Hasselvall on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rubble! Hasselvall looks gassed! Hasselvall tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rubble presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Hasselvall working to try and regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rubble working away from the top, dropping strikes. Rubble looking to control but Hasselvall is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rubble sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hasselvall tries to hold on but Rubble postures up. Rubble scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hasselvall tries to lock up and control but Rubble gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hasselvall is looking to get to half guard. Hasselvall is squirming around, avoiding Rubble's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rubble is really struggling to control Hasselvall but he's trying to hold on to the position. Hasselvall tries to hold on but Rubble postures up. Rubble content just to control the position here. Hasselvall is trying to escape the mount.
BOOM! Rubble connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hasselvall wants to control but Rubble is having none of it. Hasselvall is desperately trying to improve his position but Rubble has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rubble sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hasselvall bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Rubble wants to hit a switch here but Hasselvall passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rubble there! Hasselvall punching from mount but Rubble doing a good job of avoiding damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Musse Hasselvall dominated that round. That's time! Rubble's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hasselvall fails with a takedown attempt. Hasselvall misses with a hook. Rubble ducked under it nicely. Rubble clinches but Hasselvall breaks the clinch and Hasselvall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hasselvall slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hasselvall is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rubble knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Rubble manages to get back to half guard. Hasselvall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hasselvall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ground and pound from Hasselvall seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Hasselvall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rubble, who protects the arm well. Hasselvall working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hasselvall tries for a kimura but Rubble is defending well. Hasselvall trying to control the position but Rubble is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasselvall scores with punches from side control. Rubble is not content to let Hasselvall control the position. Hasselvall working the ground and pound. Hasselvall tries for a kimura but Rubble is defending well. Hasselvall advances to full mount. Hasselvall is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rubble can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hasselvall jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rubble is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rubble and Hasselvall has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Rubble is looking to regain half guard here but Hasselvall keeps moving and retains side control. Hasselvall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rubble, who protects the arm well. Rubble prevents Hasselvall from moving into mount. Rubble is looking for a sweep. Hasselvall tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Musse Hasselvall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Rubble looks to clinch and Hasselvall counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rubble is lucky that one didn't land flush. Hasselvall throws a sloppy head kick and Rubble moves out of range easily. Rubble looks for a takedown but Hasselvall sprawls well. Hasselvall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hasselvall drops back looking for a leg! Rubble is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rubble manages to kick Hasselvall off! Hasselvall jumps back into Rubble's guard. Hasselvall postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rubble seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Rubble is trying to keep Hasselvall in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rubble tries for a takedown but Hasselvall circles away easily and Hasselvall makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Hasselvall lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rubble's sensitive parts. Hasselvall lands a body shot.
Rubble closes the distance looking to clinch and Hasselvall counters with a thumping low kick. Rubble shoots and misses and Hasselvall counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bambam Rubble. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rubble attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Rubble throws a lazy right hand but Hasselvall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hasselvall throws a nice head kick!
Rubble tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hasselvall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rubble's guard. Rubble trying to keep a closed guard but Hasselvall is proving a slippery customer.
Rubble wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hasselvall manages to pass to side control. Hasselvall is trying to control the action in half guard but Rubble is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Musse Hasselvall has got the better of the ground game so far. Rubble is looking to get back to full guard here but Hasselvall has managed to pass to side control instead. Hasselvall goes for an armbar but Rubble turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rubble. Hasselvall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasselvall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hasselvall wants to control but Rubble is keeping him busy. Hasselvall not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hasselvall is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hasselvall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bambam Rubble has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hasselvall trying to control but Rubble is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hasselvall landing strikes from the mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Musse Hasselvall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hasselvall winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
