Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Van Hoof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hong Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Hoof comes to the cage accompanied by Star Wars - The Main Song. Hong Lee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marco Van Hoof!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hong Lee!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Van Hoof which made him look bad.
Hong Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Van Hoof sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Van Hoof tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Van Hoof doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Lee has a takedown stuffed.
Marco Van Hoof has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hong Lee.
A head kick by Van Hoof misses
and Lee counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Van Hoof knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.
Van Hoof wants to stand up but Lee is controlling him.
Van Hoof keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.
Van Hoof is looking to stand up but Lee isn't so interested in that idea.

Lee decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Van Hoof takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Van Hoof pushes him off.

Lee is looking to chop away at Van Hoof's legs.

and Van Hoof counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Van Hoof looks at the referee who does nothing so Van Hoof lands a crushing right that sends Lee to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
