Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hickson Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clay comes to the cage accompanied by Atari Teenage Riot - Revolution Action . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Curtis Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hickson Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger throws a quick inside leg kick.
Tiger works the jab nicely.
Tiger throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Clay takes one to the chin there.
Clay misses with an uppercut
and Tiger cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Clay misses the body punch
and Tiger counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Tiger throws a nice head kick!


It looks like Curtis Clay has been cut.
Tiger lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tiger throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Clay throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tiger counters with an inside leg kick.
Tiger throws a right hand that Clay ducks under and follows up with a left that Clay also avoids with ease.
Tiger lets loose with a powerful body kick. Clay will feel that in the morning.
Clay swats away the attempt to clinch by Tiger.

Clay misses with a jab to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A low kick from Clay is predictable there
and Tiger counters with a body kick that stops Clay in his tracks momentarily.
Hickson Tiger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Clay crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tiger - the referee stops the clock and Clay gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tiger. Clay manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Tiger lands a front kick.
Tiger throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Clay steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tiger. That one must have hurt.
Clay misses with a body shot.
Clay will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

and Tiger counters with a thumping low kick.
Clay misses with a leg kick
letting Tiger counter with a right hand.
Tiger lands the left hand.
Tiger throws a head kick that misses.

Tiger cracks the inside of Clay's front leg.
Tiger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Tiger counters with a left to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clay keeps the fight on the outside.
Tiger lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tiger connects with a leg kick. Clay looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Tiger tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Clay decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tiger's guard.
Clay throws a big right hand that misses.
Clay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tiger swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Clay forces his way into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Clay is thwarting Tiger's attempts to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tiger won't allow Clay to pass to mount.
Tiger wants to get back to full guard.
Tiger is trying to maintain the position but Clay is very close to passing his half guard.
Clay controlling the action here.
Clay tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tiger knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Tiger is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Clay trying to pass the guard but Tiger defending well.
Tiger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tiger tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clay works his foot free and advances to mount.

Clay throws some wild stikes that Tiger manages to avoid easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hickson Tiger dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Curtis Clay's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Clay closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tiger to the mat! Tiger manages to get full guard.
Clay thows a big elbow that misses.
Clay passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Tiger is trying to get back to half guard.
Clay trying to control the position but Tiger is working away.

Clay advances to full mount.
Tiger's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Clay unloads with some shots from mount but Tiger bucks and avoids them well.

Clay has hold of Tiger's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tiger manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Clay sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
