Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tupfama Mbamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Connelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mbamba comes to the cage accompanied by The Way I Feel. Alexander Connelly has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mbamba misses with an uppercut. Connelly saw that one coming.
Connelly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Connelly lands in his opponent's guard.
Connelly tries to free his leg and advance position but Mbamba is retaining full guard.
Connelly seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Mbamba wants to stand and escape but Connelly is having none of it.
Mbamba keeping moving, preventing Connelly from controlling successfully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Connelly wants to pass the guard but Mbamba is keeping the position.

Mbamba working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Connelly is still in real trouble! Can Mbamba finish him?
Mbamba stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Connelly seems to have recovered his senses.
Mbamba looks to land a left hand but Connelly moved out of range nicely.

Connelly closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mbamba did well to prevent Connelly getting side control.

Mbamba kicks Connelly off and gets back to his feet.

Mbamba misses with a body shot
and Connelly counters with a low kick, right behind Mbamba 's knee.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mbamba fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Connelly sprawls well initially but Mbamba persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mbamba is pressing down on Connelly's thigh, looking to free his foot. Connelly is holding on for now.

Connelly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mbamba wants to stand but Connelly is controlling his posture from full guard.

Tupfama Mbamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mbamba loads up on a big right hand but Connelly slips the punch.

and Connelly counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mbamba tries to land a front kick but Connelly steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mbamba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Connelly.
Connelly motions for Mbamba to come forward. Connelly throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Connelly throws a push kick but Mbamba slaps the foot to one side.
Mbamba gets caught flat footed, as Connelly shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mbamba wants to stand up but Connelly is controlling him.
Mbamba has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Connelly off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Mbamba is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Connelly defending well as Mbamba loads up on a big left hand.
Mbamba looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A left and a right from Connelly both land. Nice combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mbamba takes a swing at Connelly's ribcage but misses.
Mbamba throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Connelly to counter with a crisp jab.
Connelly misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mbamba misses with a looping right.
Mbamba misses with a few strikes there.
Connelly moves in looking to clinch but Mbamba pushes him off.
Connelly scores with a jab to the head.
Connelly tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mbamba swivels and escapes.
Tupfama Mbamba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Connelly.
Connelly tries to clinch there but Mbamba circles away.
Mbamba misses with a kick to the body.
Mbamba is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Connelly's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
A big left from Mbamba misses.
Mbamba swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mbamba on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Connelly has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Connelly has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mbamba finds it's way round the side to connect with Connelly's head.
Connelly closes the distance and pushes Mbamba back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mbamba is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Mbamba wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mbamba is trying to break the clinch but Connelly has him pressed against the cage.
Mbamba's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Connelly closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mbamba to the mat! Mbamba manages to get full guard.
Mbamba is looking to stand up but Connelly isn't so interested in that idea.
Mbamba scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mbamba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Connelly moves away from the strike by Mbamba.
Mbamba misses with an uppercut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mbamba.
Connelly shoots for a takedown but Mbamba saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Connelly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mbamba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Connelly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Connelly lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Connelly won't allow Mbamba to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tupfama Mbamba will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Alexander Connelly's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Connelly fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mbamba is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Connelly.
Mbamba pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mbamba loads up on a big right hand but Connelly slips the punch.
Connelly jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Connelly scores with the left hand. Mbamba knows he should have avoided that one.
Mbamba throws a front kick that sends Connelly stumbling back into the cage.
Mbamba throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Connelly tumbling to the canvas!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mbamba loads up on a big left hand. Connelly felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mbamba looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Connelly can't hide his disappointment, as Mbamba celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tupfama Mbamba!
