Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John De Vito!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tentheros throws a leg kick that is checked
and De Vito counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tentheros's knee momentarily.
Tentheros takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nice sprawl there from De Vito as Tentheros shoots in.
De Vito is looking to clinch but Tentheros is avoiding it.
Tentheros throws a sloppy head kick
and De Vito counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
De Vito tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tentheros manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tentheros misses with a low kick as De Vito jumps back.
De Vito stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tentheros.
Tentheros gets caught flat footed, as De Vito shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
De Vito trying to control the position from guard on top but Tentheros is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tentheros working for a triangle but De Vito defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as De Vito accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tentheros keeping moving, preventing De Vito from controlling successfully.
De Vito is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tentheros has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. De Vito is looking to defend but Tentheros has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for De Vito! Tentheros pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, De Vito taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ken Tentheros!
