Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Strenk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusty Covers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Covers has chosen All within My Hands as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Covers lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Covers throws a hook to the side of Strenk's head but Strenk sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Strenk staying out of range there.
Strenk throws a leg kick which misses Covers's front leg but catches the back leg as Covers tries to avoid it.
Covers blocks a head kick by Strenk.
Covers throws a jab but it's blocked by Strenk.
Strenk rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Covers counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Steven Strenk has been cut.
Covers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Strenk throws a left and a right that both miss
and Covers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Covers lands the left hand.
Strenk throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A jab from Covers finds it's way through Strenk's defenses.
Strenk throws a head kick but Covers moves out of range.
Covers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Steven Strenk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strenk falls off balance throwing a combination
and Covers counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Covers keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Covers scores with a crisp jab that stopped Strenk in his tracks.
Covers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Covers clobbers Strenk with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Good standup being displayed there by Covers as he connects with a hook.
Strenk takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Covers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Strenk is breathing heavily.
Strenk misses with a double jab
and Covers counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Strenk walks into a stiff left hand from Covers.
A lazy left from Covers finds it's target.
Covers with a jab.
Steven Strenk's cut is getting worse.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Covers lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Donk. Covers catches Strenk right on the button with a cross.
Covers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Strenk takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Strenk is rocked!
Covers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oh Strenk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Steven Strenk's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Strenk takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Covers ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Strenk's jaw. Strenk's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Covers does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dusty Covers!
