Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Kopstoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Kopstoot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Corey Wright!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kopstoot falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wright counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wright misses with an uppercut
and Wright takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wright throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kopstoot misses with a low kick.
Wright throws a combination that misses
and Kopstoot counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Corey Wright has been cut.
Kopstoot tried to score with a low kick but Wright checks it.
Wright uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kopstoot.
Kopstoot moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wright takes a swing at Kopstoot's ribcage but misses.
Wright throws the kick towards the body but Kopstoot avoids it.
Wright connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wright walks into a straight right hand from Kopstoot.
Wright throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kopstoot counters with a good low kick that Wright was not able to check.
Kopstoot pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wright is out of range and Kopstoot settles back down.
Kopstoot swings for the body but Wright moves out of range.
Wright moves out of range as Kopstoot strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kopstoot shoots in looking for a takedown. Wright tries to sprawl out of it but Kopstoot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wright manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A jab lands there for Wright.
Kopstoot misses with a head kick.
Wright lands a big right hand that sends Kopstoot crashing to the mat! Wright stays standing though and waves Kopstoot back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kopstoot misses with a left hand
and Wright counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Kopstoot off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Wright follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Kopstoot was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Corey Wright!
