Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devin Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cosmo Totenhosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks comes to the cage accompanied by Money in the Bank. Totenhosen has chosen Zehn klein Jägermeister as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cosmo Totenhosen! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks shoots for a takedown but Totenhosen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Banks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's two minutes gone in the round. Totenhosen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Banks is controlling him. Totenhosen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Banks with a flurry of punches that miss. Totenhosen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Totenhosen keeping moving, preventing Banks from controlling successfully. Totenhosen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Banks is one step ahead there.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Totenhosen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Totenhosen is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Banks connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Totenhosen some visible discomfort.
Totenhosen tries to improve position but can't. Banks throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Totenhosen tries to strike but it doesn't land. Totenhosen gets back to half guard. Totenhosen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Totenhosen. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Banks loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Totenhosen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Banks distracts Totenhosen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Banks decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Totenhosen wants to clinch but Banks slips to the side so Banks counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Banks makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Banks lands a couple of decent looking shots. Banks stands and throws Totenhosen's legs to the side, diving into side control. Banks working the head and body with strikes. The strikes coming from Banks are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Totenhosen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Banks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Totenhosen regains half guard. Totenhosen is in trouble now - Banks has advanced to mount! Banks throwing strikes here but Totenhosen is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Banks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. BOOM! Banks connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Devin Banks overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Banks drops an elbow to the side of Totenhosen's head. Banks slips a nice elbow through Totenhosen's hands, connecting with Totenhosen's forehead. Banks lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Banks is trying to control the action in half guard but Totenhosen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Banks trying to mount his opponent but Totenhosen defends it. Banks slips a nice elbow through Totenhosen's hands, connecting with Totenhosen's forehead. Banks is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Banks lands strikes from half guard. Banks is working for a kimura but Totenhosen is defending it quite comfortably.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Totenhosen throws a left and a right that both miss
