Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frederik Valefar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Davis's choice of entrance music: Rancid-Last one to Die. Frederik Valefar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Valefar.
Frederik Valefar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valefar misses with a two punch combination.
Davis shoots for a takedown but Valefar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Davis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Valefar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Valefar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Davis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Valefar manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Davis has Valefar in his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Valefar's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Valefar sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Davis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Valefar defends it well.
Valefar is looking for a sweep. Davis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters circling - Valefar throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Valefar shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Valefar showed some decent athleticism there.
Valefar is tying to control. Davis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Davis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Valefar manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Davis counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Valefar is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Valefar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Davis looking for a triangle here. Valefar is fighting it but it looks tight! Davis pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Valefar is tapping out - this one is all over!
