A decent looking body kick lands there for Michaels.
Putin drops his hands momentarily and Michaels takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Michaels misses with a looping left.
Putin fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Michaels connects with a looping right hand.
Putin throws a lazy head kick
and Michaels counters with a stiff right hand.
No joy there for Michaels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Putin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Putin misses with a takedown attempt
and Michaels counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Putin looks to throw a body kick
and Michaels counters with a one-two to the body.
Putin looks gassed!
Putin wants to clinch
and Michaels counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Putin gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Michaels gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
