PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chase Beebe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Weddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weddle has chosen remember the name - fort minor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weddle digs a good body shot into Beebe's ribs.
Weddle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beebe swivels and escapes.

Weddle's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Weddle on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Beebe lands with a kick to the temple. Weddle shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Chase Beebe will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Weddle shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Weddle slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Weddle lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
